Diaspora Mabenyane Grey (YBDC Fashion Collection)

Alice Bereng was born in Lesotho and currently lives in North America. Originally her career was in the hair and make-up industry where she founded the Semaj Salon in 2006. Years later Alice rediscovered her passion for fashion design and went on to create the AB Beauty Towel. She then established her own clothing brand called HIS HER-itage. The brand is inspired by the iconic Basotho Heritage blankets worn by the Basotho people. The next step was for her to design blankets under the Young Basotho Designers Collection.
