The Selelekela blanket is a unique design inspired by music, as its name itself speaks to rhythm, sound, and expression. At its core is the moropa (drum), a powerful symbol of heartbeat, communication, and cultural expression, paired with sound frequency patterns that represent harmony and the flow of emotion.

The design brings together the map of Lesotho and the traditional Mokorotlo, highlighting a sense of unity and shared identity. It reflects how music connects people—within Lesotho and far beyond its borders—bridging cultures and creating a universal language of connection.Each element is carefully chosen, from the drum and sound waves to the national symbols, forming a balanced composition that celebrates rhythm, heritage, and togetherness.

Fabric: 50% Wool 50% Acrylic

Care: The best way to wash is to hand wash with coarse salt (the salt removes the dirt and keeps the fabric soft). However, it can be washed in the washing machine at a cool temperature - do not exceed 30 degrees Celsius.
