King Moshoeshoe I, the founder of the Basotho nation, was gifted a blanket that he draped around his shoulders. This was the beginning of the tradition of wearing blankets. The country's rich history is woven into these beautiful blankets.  This throw is inspired by many of the unique motifs you see in the Basotho Heritage brands, such as the corn-cob, the crown, and the mokorotlo (traditional Basotho hat).  This throw is a beautiful acknowledgment of the Basotho culture.
