It represents safeguarding one’s future and preserving cultural identity, especially as initiation practices become less common in urban areas.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe design combines Lesira, litema patterns, and textile expression as a statement of cultural preservation (ts’ireletso ea moetlo oa Basotho). It reflects pride in Basotho heritage while reimagining tradition in a modern form. White represents the Lesira mask and initiates’ white facial application (phetla), while black and red add contrast and strength. Litema patterns highlight Basotho geometric art and reinforce cultural identity. The design is unisex, as protection and heritage belong to everyone.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSize: 155x165cm\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFabric: 50% Wool 50% Acrylic\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCare: The best way to wash is to hand wash with coarse salt (the salt removes the dirt and keeps the fabric soft).
